Trips for Kids Santa Cruz is a chapter of the international nonprofit Trips for Kids.
OUR MISSION is to empower youth through mountain biking. WE ARE COMMITTED to providing a safe environment where kids ages 12-18 can have a positive experience on a mountain bike. THROUGH THEIR SUCCESS on the bike these youth will begin to realize their potential in other areas of their lives.
We provide the equipment, transportation, moral support and skills instruction to help kids discover mountain biking and the great outdoors.
We mentor kids on a mountain bike and give them an opportunity to learn new skills and overcome challenges.
We believe the trust, self-confidence, and enjoyment of mountain biking will lead to greater change in the lives of youth.
